Infinite and Finite: how to connect?

Existential pain that often leads to lifelong depression and a lost interest in everyday life… Many of us are experiencing it now; some have been experiencing it since birth, while others have only recently begun to experience it as part of the current humankind awakening. It doesn’t matter when one loses interest in living a 3D life. What matters is how to continue putting one foot in front of the other and walking the path of human life, which is full of hassle and responsibilities.

According to my understanding, the main reason for this situation is the inner conflict between the discovered infinite and the given finite. The challenge is to integrate these two concepts so that they don’t contradict each other or force us to choose one over the other. Is it possible to combine these two seemingly opposite natures in one being? In an incarnate, 3D human being?

The Law of One books (and other similar sources) advise finding the sacred nature of each aspect of mundane life and viewing three-dimensional life through the eyes of the Creator. However this is not so easy to imagine. Creation and the Creator are mysteries. How can one view one’s 3D life through the eyes of the Creator, the Unknown, the Mystery? It’s difficult to comprehend.

A more practical question would be: “What does the Creator want to see, feel, or experience through my life and my everyday activities and duties?” To answer this question, an intimate connection with the “Creator within” needs to be established through prayer, meditation, or another spiritual practice.

Generally speaking, however, we can assume that the infinite Creator is interested in experiencing something infinite itself — something that will remain with the Creator in Infinity. What could that be?

Someone 3D-incarnated said once: “Infinite love is the only truth; everything else is an illusion.” Ra said that finding love in every moment is the most useful exercise. So, by finding this infinite component in every finite aspect of mundane life, we experience life as The Infinite Creator, thus making each moment and activity sacred.

Doesn’t this answer the painful existential question about the significance of this “illusionary life”? It does, but only theoretically because putting it into practice is a whole new story. It’s the story each of us is meant to write — difficult but rewarding — because it’s the only real story that exists in eternity.

“Exercise One. This is the most nearly centered and usable within your illusion complex. The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion or density. The exercise is to consciously seek that love in awareness and understanding distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of the life-experience of an entity. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking powers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third. As with the previous type of empowerment, there will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that, as before, the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential.

Exercise Two. The universe is one being. When a mind/body/spirit complex views another mind/body/spirit complex, see the Creator. This is an helpful exercise.

Exercise Three. Gaze within a mirror. See the Creator.

Exercise Four. Gaze at the creation which lies about the mind/body/spirit complex of each entity. See the Creator.

The foundation or prerequisite of these exercises is a predilection towards what may be called meditation, contemplation, or prayer. With this attitude, these exercises can be processed. Without it, the data will not sink down into the roots of the tree of mind, thus enabling and ennobling the body and touching the spirit.”
